Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, your display name, and sign-in metadata (including the provider you used, such as Google, Apple or Microsoft).
• Study content you create: lectures, learning objectives, notes, packages you paste back in, and settings.
• Study activity: flashcard reviews and scheduling data, quiz answers and scores, flagged and mistaken items, focus timer sessions, streaks and goals.
• Generated study images: synthetic images created for your packages, stored privately against your account.
• Group sessions: if you host or join a group quiz, the room code, the nickname entered and the answers submitted in that room.
• Basic technical logs: error and request logs used to keep the service working and secure.

What we never collect

MedForge Study Hub does not upload or store your lecture files, slide decks, PDFs or recordings, and it does not accept image uploads from your device. Lecture material stays in the AI tool your school permits. We do not request health information about you or any patient, and you should never enter identifiable patient information.

How we use it

To run your account, save and show your study material, schedule reviews, show your progress and statistics, run group quiz rooms, generate study images you ask for, and keep the service secure and working. We do not use your content for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it.

AI processing

Prompts are generated inside MedForge Study Hub for you to copy into an AI tool of your choice — your use of that tool is governed by its own terms and your school's policy. When you ask MedForge Study Hub to create a study image or place pointers on one, only the short description you or your package supplies (and, for pointer placement, the image MedForge Study Hub itself generated) is sent to our AI provider to fulfil that request. Your lecture files are never sent, and content sent this way is not used to train models.

Storage, security and sharing

Data is stored in our managed cloud database and file storage with per-user access rules, so your packages, reviews and images are visible only to you. We share data only with the infrastructure and AI providers needed to run the service, and when required by law. Group quiz rooms are the exception you control: people who have the room code can see the questions, nicknames and scores in that room.

Payments and our Merchant of Record

Memberships are sold through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. When you subscribe, Paddle receives the details needed to sell the product, manage your subscription, take payment, handle tax compliance and issue invoices. We never see or store your full card number. We keep only your plan, its status and billing dates so we can give you access. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you. We may also share data with professional advisers (legal, accounting) and with authorities where required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep your content while your account exists. You can delete individual lectures, packages and notes at any time from inside MedForge Study Hub. To delete your whole account and its data, email jreaves5806@gmail.com from your account address and we will remove it; backups age out shortly afterwards.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email jreaves5806@gmail.com and we will respond. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Children

MedForge Study Hub is intended for university-level and professional learners and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect their data.

Cookies and local storage

We use storage on your device to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your theme, remote key mappings, timer settings and recently opened packages. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

International transfers and changes

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, with appropriate safeguards. If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where required, tell you in the app.
