Terms of Service

1. Educational use only — not medical advice

MedForge Study Hub is a study aid. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations or clinical decision support, and it is not a medical device. Nothing in MedForge Study Hub may be used in the care of a real patient or to make any clinical decision. Study content — including cases, questions, explanations, images and simulated patients — is generated for exam preparation and coursework revision only. Always verify clinical information against current authoritative sources and your supervising faculty.

2. AI-generated content

MedForge Study Hub builds prompts that you run in an AI tool your school permits, and it generates synthetic study images (micrographs, scans, illustrations) on request. AI output can be incomplete, outdated or wrong, and synthetic images are illustrative renderings, not real patient studies. You are responsible for checking anything you learn from MedForge Study Hub before relying on it. MedForge Study Hub makes no representation that the content is accurate, current or complete.

3. Academic integrity and your school's rules

You agree that you will not use MedForge Study Hub to:

• enter, store, paste or share confidential or leaked examination material, including exam recalls, question banks, item banks, remembered exam questions, or secure assessment content from any school or licensing body;
• enter or store material that your institution designates as confidential, internal or non-distributable;
• circumvent, or help anyone circumvent, an honor code, proctoring rule or AI-use policy.

You are solely responsible for complying with your institution's academic integrity and artificial intelligence policies. MedForge Study Hub does not upload, store or transmit your lecture files; you attach lecture material only inside the AI tool your school permits, and prompts instruct that tool to build new study material rather than reproduce the lecture.

4. Ownership of MedForge Study Hub

MedForge Study Hub is proprietary. All right, title and interest in and to the service — including its source code, object code, software architecture, databases and schema, user interface and user experience design, layout, visual style, colour and type system, logos and branding, the MedForge Study Hub™ and MedForge™ names, all prompt text and prompt engineering, scoring, scheduling and grading logic, illustrations, synthetic images, written copy, documentation and every other element of the site — are and remain the sole and exclusive property of James Bradley Reaves IV, and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade secret and unfair competition law. © 2026 James Bradley Reaves IV. Nothing in these Terms transfers, assigns or licenses any intellectual property right to you. You are granted only a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and view the service through a standard web browser, for your own private study, for as long as you comply with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by James Bradley Reaves IV.

4a. Prohibited copying and theft of the platform

Without the prior written permission of James Bradley Reaves IV, you must not, and must not permit or assist anyone else to:

• copy, clone, reproduce, mirror, republish, distribute, rent, sell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit any part of the service, its code, design, layout, prompts, wording or images;
• create a derivative, adapted, translated, rebranded or "inspired by" version of MedForge Study Hub, or use its design, structure, feature set, prompts or copy to build a competing or similar product or service;
• decompile, disassemble, deobfuscate, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, prompt text or data structures of the service, except to the narrow extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• scrape, crawl, harvest, spider, bulk-download, index, or use any automated means, bot, script, extension or AI agent to extract the code, prompts, content, screenshots or data of the service;
• use the service, its output or its prompts to train, fine-tune, evaluate or ground any machine learning or artificial intelligence model, dataset or product;
• remove, obscure, alter or falsify any copyright, trademark, ownership, attribution or proprietary notice, or pass off the service or any part of it as your own work;
• register, apply for, use or claim any domain name, business name, application name, handle, logo or trademark that is identical or confusingly similar to MedForge, MedForge Study Hub or its logo.

Any such use is an unauthorised and wilful infringement of the intellectual property of James Bradley Reaves IV. James Bradley Reaves IV reserves every remedy available at law and in equity, including injunctive relief, takedown and platform complaints, actual damages, statutory damages and profits, and recovery of costs and legal fees, and may terminate your access immediately and without notice. You agree that unauthorised copying of the service would cause irreparable harm for which monetary damages alone would be inadequate, and that injunctive relief is an appropriate remedy.

4b. Content you enter, and feedback

You keep ownership of the notes, objectives and packages you create. You grant James Bradley Reaves IV only the limited permission needed to host, store, process and display that content back to you in your account, and to operate and secure the service. You represent and warrant that anything you enter does not infringe any copyright, trademark, trade secret or other right, and that you have the right to use it. Do not paste substantial verbatim text, figures or tables from textbooks, atlases, slide decks, journals or commercial question banks.

If you send suggestions, ideas or feedback about the service, you grant James Bradley Reaves IV a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them without restriction, attribution or compensation.

5. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe material on MedForge Study Hub infringes your copyright, send a notice to jreaves5806@gmail.com that identifies the work, identifies the material and its location, gives your contact details, states that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorised, states under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised agent, and includes your signature. We remove or disable infringing material on valid notice and may terminate repeat infringers.

6. Trademarks

MedForge™, MedForge Study Hub™, the MedForge logo and the associated wordmarks and styling are trademarks owned exclusively by James Bradley Reaves IV, used continuously in commerce and protected at common law whether or not registered. They may not be used as, or as part of, any name, logo, domain, app, handle, advertising or metadata without his prior written permission.

MedForge Study Hub is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or certified by any medical school, examination body or commercial study provider. Names such as Anki, USMLE, COMLEX, NBME, NBOME and any other product or examination names are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility or subject matter (nominative fair use).

6a. Third-party trademarks and non-affiliation

MedForge Study Hub is an independent study tool and has no affiliation with, and is not sponsored, endorsed, licensed, reviewed or certified by, any examination body, medical school or commercial study provider.

• USMLE® is a registered trademark of the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) and the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB).
• COMLEX-USA® and COMAT® are registered trademarks of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME).
• All other product, service, examination, organisation and software names are the trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners.

Those marks are used only descriptively, to identify subject matter and compatibility (nominative fair use). No claim is made to any third-party mark, and no statement here should be read as implying any endorsement, sponsorship, certification or partnership.

6b. Respect for the rights of others

MedForge Study Hub does not receive, upload, store or transmit your lecture slides, syllabi, textbooks, atlases or journal articles, and it does not accept image uploads — every image in the service is generated synthetically. Prompts are written to build new study material from learning objectives and factual content, not to reproduce or paraphrase copyrighted text, figures or slide layouts.

You must not use MedForge Study Hub to store, share or distribute anyone else's copyrighted material, confidential institutional material, or secure examination content. If you believe any material in the service infringes your rights, contact jreaves5806@gmail.com and it will be reviewed and removed promptly where warranted.

7. Your account

You must give accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

7a. Membership, free trial and billing

You are contracting with James Bradley Reaves IV, the sole owner and seller of MedForge Study Hub. New accounts get a 7-day free trial with no card required. After the trial, continued access requires a paid membership: $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year (USD, plus any applicable tax). Memberships renew automatically each period until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from the Membership page; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy.

We may suspend or end access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. The service is provided without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free performance.

8. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the service, access another user's data, upload malware, resell access, or use MedForge Study Hub unlawfully.

9. No warranty

MedForge Study Hub is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that content is medically accurate, or that using MedForge Study Hub will improve any grade or result in passing any course, examination, board or licensing assessment.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MedForge Study Hub and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost opportunity, examination or academic outcomes, professional consequences, or any harm arising from clinical use of study content. Our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US$50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless James Bradley Reaves IV from claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you enter, your breach of these Terms, your infringement or misuse of his intellectual property, your breach of an academic integrity or AI-use policy, or any clinical use of the service.

12. Changes, termination and governing law

We may change these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date, and continued use means you accept them. You may stop using MedForge Study Hub and request deletion of your account at any time. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which James Bradley Reaves IV resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located there. Nothing limits his right to seek injunctive relief in any court to stop infringement of his intellectual property.
